Stores Operative

WB Power Service is proudly part of The Wilmott Group and is a leading generator specialist that provides solutions, maintenance, sales and hire to customers across the UK. This is a superb opportunity for Stores Operative to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Stores Operative to support the team through these exciting times.

The Role

  • Stocktaking within the Stores Department
  • Stock rotation
  • Allocation of parts/jobs
  • Goods In / Goods Out
  • Purchase invoice queries
  • Control of tools for our head office
  • Locate and identify stock for distribution
  • Packaging up parts and dispatching them
  • Working to WB Power Services Ltd Procedures and using our own bespoke systems
  • General tidiness within the store’s department
  • Dealing with waste management
  • Report any anomalies to the line manager using the Non-conformance system
  • Build and maintain effective relations with other departments
  • Always demonstrate a customer-focused and professional attitude
  • Provide guidance and coaching for stakeholders on Inventory practices

The Person

  • Picking and packing experience
  • Counterbalance – FLT (desirable)
  • Hold a full UK Driving license (desirable)
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work from a pick sheet
  • Problem-solving
  • Competency in IT
  • Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
  • The capability to deal with a variety of works
  • Organised
