Job summary

Atlas NextWave based in Ulverston is seeking a motivated Storesperson to join the Materials & Logistics team. This hands-on role supports receipt, storage, control and issue of materials to meet production and delivery needs.

You will work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing and Quality teams to maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock checks and ensure safe, organized storage across designated locations. Forklift experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to inventory accuracy and detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Willingness to learn products, processes and systems.
• Capable of working independently once trained.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and book in incoming materials and goods.
• Accurately pick, pack and issue materials to support production requirements.
• Maintain stock accuracy through regular stock checks and inventory control activities.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and in designated locations.
• Support inventory investigations and help resolve stock discrepancies.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance stores performance and efficiency.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality and Logistics teams.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and compliance at all times.
