Job summary

Ardencote Manor | Hiddenwell Luxury Wellness Retreat is seeking a Stores Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis in the UK. You will handle deliveries, store stock, and fulfil internal requests while keeping stores organised and compliant with safety procedures.

The role requires accuracy, organisational skills, and experience in warehouses or stores. You will work with the Head of Stores and cross-functional teams in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience within Stores, stock control, goods-in, warehousing or a similar role.
• Must have excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have confidence checking deliveries and maintaining stock records.
• Must have good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must have the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• Must have confidence using IT systems – experience with ProcureWizard would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing catering and beverage deliveries.
• Checking deliveries against orders and relevant documentation.
• Ensuring stock received is undamaged and everything ordered is accounted for.
• Reporting shortages, damaged goods and delivery discrepancies promptly.
• Issuing stock and accurately recording goods moving in and out of Stores.
• Preparing and fulfilling stock requests from departments across the business.
• Maintaining appropriate stock levels against agreed PAR levels.
• Highlighting low stock or shortages to the Head of Stores.
• Keeping Stores areas clean, tidy, safe and well organised.
• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely.
• Maintaining accurate stock records using ProcureWizard.
• Supporting stock control and ordering within agreed budgets.
• Assisting with monthly stock counts.
• Working closely with the Head of Stores, Kitchen and wider operational teams.
• Following Health & Safety, manual handling and safe working procedures.
• Supporting the wider operation when required.
