Job summary

Interaction Engineering is seeking a reliable Stores Person to join our busy team. You will ensure materials, stock and equipment are available when needed and maintain an efficient, well-organised stores environment.

The role involves receiving deliveries, maintaining stock records, and liaising with suppliers. A proactive, detail‑oriented candidate with good IT skills and health and safety awareness will excel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores, warehouse, stock control or similar role.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Good communication and professional approach.
• Basic IT skills and knowledge of stock management systems.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Experience in manufacturing, signage, engineering or production is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and process deliveries against notes.
• Maintain accurate stock records and levels.
• Organise and maintain the stores area safely.
• Pick, prepare and issue materials for production teams.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder items as needed.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stock takes.
• Liaise with suppliers, couriers and internal teams about deliveries.
• Report discrepancies and damaged goods promptly.
• Follow health and safety and stock control procedures.
