Calderdale and Huddersfield Solutions Ltd (CHS) is recruiting for a Stores Support role within the catering stores. The position involves maintaining hygiene, stock control and efficient goods handling across CHS facilities that support Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

The role requires manual handling, basic computer skills and good communication to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.

Formación

• Basic Food hygiene certificate (Desirable)
• Basic English and maths
• Good food hygiene practices
• Awareness of Health and Safety and manual handling techniques
• Flexible and able to multi-task
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of lifting & handling techniques
• Basic computer skills including stock control software, e-mail and Excel

Responsabilidades

• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
• Maintain HACCP documentation and fridge/food temperature logs.
• Receive and check goods, including temperature-controlled items.
• Maintain stock control system and stock movements with accuracy.
• Liaise with suppliers and handle order inquiries and shortages.
• Process inwards goods, check dates and temperature control.
• Pick, pack and deliver orders to correct locations in a timely manner.
