Job summary

Co-op Group in Biggleswade is seeking a Customer Team Leader for our store at 6 Kingsfield Road. You will lead a small team, manage opening/closing, and support post office or bakery operations depending on the store.

This role is part-time, 18 hours per week with regular overtime, on-site with weekend shifts and varied patterns. You will drive great service and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 18+ eligibility to work in the UK
• Flexible, able to work varied shifts including weekends
• Experience in retail or people leadership is desirable

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day running of the store on your shift
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
• Work hands-on on shop floor and tills, including post office counter where applicable
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes
• Champion Co-op membership and community engagement to grow responsible business
