Job summary

Co-op is looking for a Customer Team Leader to run a small team in a fast-paced store in Northampton. You’ll help deliver essential services to the community, potentially working in the post office, bakery, or supporting online services and home delivery drivers. You’ll play a key role in making life easier for customers.

You'll lead shifts, coach staff, cover tills, and help with merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes while championing Co-op membership and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum criteria: age 18+, flexible shifts incl. weekends.
• Retail or team supervision experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lead by example and support a small team.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day store operations on your shift.
• Motivate and coach the team to deliver great service.
• Support tills, merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op membership and community engagement.
