Job summary

WHSmith is seeking a Team Leader to guide and inspire the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet business objectives. You will foster a learning culture, support colleagues on the shop floor, and ensure a safe and compliant working environment.

The role emphasizes leadership from the front, development of personal skills and product knowledge, and building strong relationships with colleagues across the store network.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or similar, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of KPI’s such as ATV and ability to drive results.
• Ability to lead from the front, get involved on the shop floor and support colleagues.
• Flexible in approach to support other stores in the area when needed.
• Strong relationship building and clear communication.
• Experience in training and developing team members to deliver their best.
