Job summary

Co-op Group is hiring a Customer Team Leader in Weston-super-Mare on a part-time basis. You will lead a small team in a busy store, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, driving service quality, and supporting merchandising and stock accuracy.

You’ll be on varied shifts, including early mornings and late evenings, with at least one weekend shift. You’ll champion Co-op membership and community links while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or team management is preferred, but not essential.
• Able to lead a small team and work on the shop floor.
• Aged 18+ to authorise age-related sales.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and leading a team of Customer Team Members
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth
