Job summary

Barbour Bridgend is seeking a motivated Store Supervisor to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will assist the Store Manager, oversee staff, and set the tone on the sales floor to ensure top-level customer service and store productivity.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, oversee day-to-day duties, develop staff, and create a sales-focused environment where customers receive world-class service.

Qualifications

• Experience of retail in a fast-paced, high turnover environment.
• Strong leadership with an emphasis on staff development.
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem solving.
• Willingness to train and coach others.
• Capable of handling conflicts and maintaining morale under pressure.
• Able to educate and grow junior staff; fosters teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and support the Store Manager.
• Manage performance and address staff issues; mentor team.
• Lead by example with high level of service and attention to detail.
• Delegate tasks and supervise staff; provide training when needed.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues not resolved by others.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and clear communication with management.
