The Yorkshire Trading Company is seeking a Part-time Retail Assistant to support daily store operations and provide excellent customer service. This role involves deputising for the Store Manager as needed, training junior staff, and maintaining displays and pricing on the shop floor.

You will contribute to a busy team, handling customer questions and guiding customers to products while promoting promotions. Benefits include a pension, staff discount, and pro rata annual leave.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the store manager in daily store operations.
• Deputise for Store Manager when required (key holder).
• Train and supervise retail colleagues, including cashiers and replenishment staff.
• Maintain store displays, stock rotation and price accuracy.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle questions or complaints.

32 Hours over 4 days, to include some weekends on a rota basis

The ideal candidate would benefit from being flexible as additional hours may be required at busy times

Duties to include but are not limited to:

• To assist the store manager in the day to day running of the store
• Deputise in the absence of the Store Manager (key holder)
• Support in the management and training of retail colleagues, including cashiers and the replenishment team working on the shop floor.
• Work on store displays / stock rotation and put away
• Keep up-to-date with all of our products, services and promotions.
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues
• Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters suggesting items, delivering great, traditional customer service
• Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Cashing up duties as and when required
• Ensure pricing is correct.
