Yorkshire Trading Company in Barnard Castle is seeking a part-time Retail Store Supervisor to support day-to-day store operations and leadership across a 24-hour, 3-day rota. The role includes deputising for the Store Manager, staff training, and maintaining store displays and pricing.

You will ensure excellent customer service, handle till procedures, and contribute to a positive team environment. The business offers a pro rata annual leave, staff discount after induction, and a workplace

Qualifikationen

• Experience in supervisory or team-leader role preferred.
• Ability to cash up and handle till procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist the store manager in the day-to-day running of the store.
• Deputise in the absence of the Store Manager (key holder).
• Support in the management and training of retail colleagues, including cashiers and replenishment team on the shop floor.
• Work on store displays, stock rotation and put away.
• Keep up-to-date with all products, services and promotions.
• Handle customer questions, complaints and issues.
• Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters, delivering great customer service.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Cashing up duties as and when required.
• Ensure pricing is correct.

We have an opportunity for a Retail Store Supervisor to join the team in our Barnard Castle Store.

Position is based on:

• - 24 Hours over 3 days, to include some weekends on a rota basis

The ideal candidate would benefit from being flexible as additional hours may be required at busy times

Duties to include but are not limited to:

• - To assist the store manager in the day to day running of the store
• - Deputise in the absence of the Store Manager (key holder)
• - Support in the management and training of retail colleagues, including cashiers and the replenishment team working on the shop floor.
• - Work on store displays / stock rotation and put away
• - Keep up-to-date with all of our products, services and promotions.
• - Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues
• - Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters suggesting items, delivering great, traditional customer service
• - Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• - Cashing up duties as and when required
• - Ensure pricing is correct.
