Yorkshire Trading Company is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor for the Grantham store. The role is 24 hours over 3 days, including weekends on a rota basis, with flexibility for busier periods.

The successful candidate will assist the store manager, deputise as key holder, and support training of retail colleagues, stock displays, customer service and cash handling. 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) and a salary of £31,000 per annum plus bonus opportunity.

• To assist the store manager in the day to day running of the store
• Deputise in the absence of the Store Manager (key holder)
• Support in the management and training of retail colleagues, including cashiers and the replenishment team working on the shop floor.
• Work on store displays / stock rotation and put away
• Keep up-to-date with all of our products, services and promotions.
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues
• Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters suggesting items, delivering great, traditional customer service
• Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Cashing up duties as and when required
• Ensure pricing is correct.

Yorkshire Trading Company, are a growing family owned run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire & the North East; a busy ecommerce operation and Outdoor Events teams who trade nationwide.

We have an opportunity for a Retail Store Supervisor to join the team in our Grantham Store.

The position is based on:

• 24 Hours over 3 days, to include some weekends on a rota basis

The ideal candidate would benefit from being flexible as additional hours may be required at busy times
