Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, Braehead Store in Glasgow, is seeking an Argos Shift Manager to lead shifts, coach colleagues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations on the shop floor and in the warehouse.

You’ll drive customer service, help deliver KPIs, support the Store Manager in safety and compliance, and play a key role in delivering sales and profitability. The role is full-time with a permanent contract, salary from £28,400, and a market-leading benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience of organising, running, and planning for a fast-paced operation.
• Comfortable directing a team and providing day-to-day coaching and on-the-spot guidance to support the delivery of brilliant experiences for customers and colleagues.
• Support the Store Manager in ensuring the store is safe and compliant.
• Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and product knowledge to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and provide on-the-job coaching to colleagues.
• Assist with warehouse organisation, deliveries, and serving customers on the shop floor.
• Take operational responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager to ensure day-to-day tasks run smoothly.
