Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee store teams and deliver a great in-store experience, following the availability windows and ensuring smooth daily operations. The role requires coaching colleagues, building inclusive relationships, and acting as a strong role model with a passion for providing outstanding service to every customer.

You’ll lead the store in the manager’s absence, stay adaptable to change, and help Tesco continue to be the customer’s preferred way to shop while supporting

Qualifications

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customers needs are met.
• Build positive, long lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the goadto person for dayadtoadday operational queries.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
