Job summary

Tyrone Fabrication Ltd is seeking an experienced Store Person for our Ballygawley facility. You will manage efficient stores operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage and distribution of electrical materials in line with company procedures and health and safety policies.

Key duties include unloading deliveries, ERP receipting, picking for production jobs, and maintaining stock accuracy. The role requires IT proficiency, good communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a team

Qualifications

• Experience in a stores/stock control role.
• Proficient in basic IT packages (Excel/Word).
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Health and safety awareness in warehouse environments.
• Forklift licence/desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries, sorting and storing materials.
• Receipt, storage and distribution of materials; liaising with purchasing.
• Ensure safety and security of stores areas at all times.
• Maintain accuracy of materials in stores; stock control systems.
• Receive and store incoming materials per company requirements.
• Receipting deliveries on ERP system.

Job description

A full time role based at our Ballygawley Facility - providing efficient and secure stores operation for the storage and distribution of all electrical materials. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the business operate stores in accordance with the company's procedures and health and safety policies at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unloading deliveries, sorting and storing
• To follow accurately all company procedures relating to receipt, storage and distribution of materials – liaising with purchasing and other teams as necessary
• To ensure the safety and security at all times of all designated stores areas
• To maintain the accuracy of materials in stores at all times in accordance with the requirements of the stock control systems
• To ensure that incoming materials are received and stored in a safe manner and that they conform to the company's requirements in respect of both quantity and quality
• Receipting all deliveries on ERP system
• Picking parts/kits for relevant production jobs
• To liaise with Production Supervisors to ensure that effective stocks of materials are available on the shop floor at all times
• To ensure that all non-conforming items are identified and that waste materials are properly identified and stored according to their needs
• Issue and Return production stock items on ERP system
• To maintain the computerised stock control system according to company procedures
• To coordinate and control stock-taking as and when required
• Any other duties that may be required as necessary
• IT Literate – able to operate excel, word and other software packages
• Experience of working in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Proven track record at delivering results in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent organisation and planning skills

• Havin Forklift licence/experience is desirable
