Job summary

PPG’s Bonnington Johnstone’s Decorating Centre is recruiting a Store Operations Manager to lead daily store activities, support customers and staff, and promote our product range. The role includes in-store training and a focus on delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisor experience desirable.
• Previous experience in a customer facing environment.
• Good communications skills with a positive customer focusses attitude.
• Good understanding of IT systems.
• Flexibility towards working hours and duties.
• Driving licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring customers and staff have everything they need.
• Serve customers on the trade counter and in store, in a friendly and professional manner.
• Undertake all required training to confidently select the correct product for customers’ needs and to promote the brand.
• Ensure the store always looks well-presented and clean.
• Follow stock management procedures by taking in deliveries and keeping the shelves full.
