Job summary

Morrisons is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a high-volume store, delivering outstanding customer service and business results. You will own strategic direction, drive profitability, and champion our Market Street heritage while fostering a fast-paced, inclusive team environment.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will manage full P&L, optimise labor models, and build a culture that motivates managers to excel across day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing large-scale, high-volume retail stores with full P&L accountability.
• Strong commercial mindset with knowledge of retail metrics, stock management and labor models.
• Proven leadership to build and coach a high-performing management team.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll take full P&L and operational ownership of the entire store, setting the strategic direction, driving commercial growth, and creating an inspiring environment where colleagues thrive.

• Driving Commercial Success: Owning full P&L performance, maximizing sales, optimizing labor productivity, and driving profitability.
• Championing Market Street: Ensuring our fresh food heritage shines through high-energy retail theatre, expert craftsmanship, and exceptional availability.
• Leading & Developing People: Building a high-performing management team, nurturing talent, and cultivating a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Delivering Operational Excellence: Maintaining flawless store standards, strict food safety, compliance, and stock integrity across all shifts.
• Connecting with the Community: Acting as the face of Morrisons locally, engaging with customers, and adapting trade strategies to local market needs.
