Job summary

Morrisons is looking for a Trading Manager to lead commercial execution on the shop floor and ensure departments look spectacular while customers feel at home. You’ll report to the Store Manager and own trade execution, stock management, and team leadership across designated areas.

You’ll drive strong commercial performance, maintain compliance, and coach your team to deliver friendly, helpful service during peak periods, creating a consistently great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume retail or commercial environment.
• Ability to read trade reports, manage stock rotation, and tightly control waste.
• Hands-on attitude with leadership on shop floor.

As a Trading Manager, you won’t be stuck behind a desk. You’ll be the commercial driving force right out on the shop floor, ensuring your departments look spectacular and our customers feel right at home.

Reporting into the Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of trade execution, commercial performance, and stock management across your designated areas. Your main objective is to ensure every aisle is beautifully presented and fully stocked, while coaching your team to deliver the friendly, helpful service that keeps our regulars coming back week after week.
