The Midcounties Co-Operative in Rugby is seeking a Store Manager who places customers first and inspires a team to deliver a memorable shopping experience. You will lead store operations, uphold high standards, and build strong relationships with your local community.

You will be accountable for the store and team, drive sales, memberships and community initiatives, and provide hands-on leadership, training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience within retail management - preferably in a food store setting (required).
• Strong leadership experience and ability to inspire teams through leading by example.
• Sound commercial and business acumen.
• A natural ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers and team members.
• The ability to multi-task, be self-assured and organised.

Responsibilities

• Taking overall accountability for your store and team, ensuring a great customer experience is being delivered.
• Providing excellent leadership to your team to create a high-performance culture.
• Leading the team to drive sales, memberships and community engagement.
• Driving people-related activities such as training, development and performance, whilst still being hands-on within the store when needed.
• Actively involved with social initiatives and volunteering hours to support your local community.
