Job summary

Julia's House is seeking an experienced Shop Manager to run our Broadstone Store, leading a dedicated team of staff and volunteers to maximise sales and deliver outstanding customer service in a busy charitable shop.

You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and use your planning and communication skills to engage the team. The role is 30 hours over 4 days (Mon–Sat) and requires a full driving licence for business use. Interview date TBC.

Qualifications

• Sound retail experience; charity experience not essential.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Awareness of Health & Safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of staff and volunteers to maximise shop sales and profits.
• Lead and manage the day to day shop operation, by exceeding customer expectations and effective engagement of the staff and volunteer team.
