Job summary

Fred Perry is seeking a store management professional to lead a high-performing team in our Portsmouth location. You will deliver premium customer service, drive sales, and ensure daily operations meet brand standards while upholding the brand’s Laurel Wreath heritage.

The role requires proven retail leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to plan staffing, budgets and visual merchandise. You will monitor KPIs, reduce losses, coach staff, and respond quickly to changing business

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management - essential.
• Proven experience in building effective teams and motivating employees.
• Strong initiative and leadership skills.
• Understanding of various retail concepts i.e. (gross margin, markdowns, visual merchandising).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a premium level of customer service.
• Monitor KPI's on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Ensure targets are met through planning and organisation of staff.
• Ensure staff are aware of sales targets and KPI's and contribute to shop goals.
• Plan all expenses for short and long term success.
• Ensure staff carry out policies and procedures as per guidelines.
• Investigate incidents of stock loss and report to Retail team.
• Monitor loss prevention to protect inventory and assets.
• Take action to lower expenses if sales goals are not met.
