Job summary

Hush is opening a brand-new store in Harrogate and seeks an inspiring Store Manager to lead from day one. You will recruit, coach and develop the team while delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Hush brand.

You will use data and commercial insight to maximise store performance, manage visuals, stock and budgets, and work closely with Retail and Head Office teams to ensure sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Store Manager or in a senior retail management role.
• Proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving commercial targets.
• Experience recruiting, leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.

About the role

We're incredibly excited to be opening a brand-new Hush store in Harrogate, and we're looking for an inspiring and commercially driven Store Manager to lead it from day one.

This is a brilliant opportunity to put your stamp on a new store, build and develop your team and create a destination where customers love to shop and colleagues love to work.

You'll take full ownership of the store's performance, leading from the front to create an exceptional customer experience. You'll build genuine connections with our customers, inspire them through confident styling advice and make sure every visit feels warm, personal and unmistakably Hush.

You'll use data and commercial insight to drive sales, identify opportunities and maximise store performance. From visual merchandising and stock management to rota planning, budgeting and operational excellence, you'll ensure every aspect of the store reflects the Hush brand and operates to the highest standard.

People will be at the heart of everything you do. You'll recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team, creating an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued, supported and empowered to grow.

Working closely with your Retail Manager, Head Office teams and wider Retail colleagues, you'll play an important part in making our Harrogate store a success and shaping the continued growth of Hush Retail.

• Stock is managed efficiently, operational processes run smoothly and the store is compliant across all areas, including Health & Safety.
• You build strong relationships across Retail and Head Office, creating a collaborative culture that supports the success of the wider business.
• You lead with energy, accountability and authenticity, bringing the Hush values to life every day.

About you

You’ll be an experienced retail leader with a passion for developing people, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving commercial success.

You’re equally comfortable analysing performance as you are leading from the shop floor, and you know how to create an environment where both people and the business thrive.

We’d love you to have:

• Previous experience as a Store Manager or in a senior retail management role.
• A proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving commercial targets.
• Experience recruiting, leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse KPIs and translate insight into action.
• A passion for fashion, styling and creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Experience managing store operations, visual merchandising, stock and budgets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• A positive, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach with the confidence to lead through change.
• Experience opening a new store would be brilliant, but isn’t essential.
