C2 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Store Manager Designate for the Newbury Area. You will lead and support multiple stores across the region, driving sales, coaching teams and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You will work alongside Store Managers and regional leaders to uphold standards, optimise stock and implement regional plans. This is a hands-on, travel-friendly role ideal for an ambitious retail manager ready to broaden responsibilities.

Formación

• At least two years' retail management experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving performance.
• Good commercial awareness with budgets, margins and KPIs.
• Experience managing stock, merchandising and store operations.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and adaptable with travel across the region.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between stores.

Are you an ambitious Retail Manager who enjoys leading teams, improving store performance and making a real difference? This is an exciting opportunity to step into a varied Store Manager Designate role, supporting multiple stores across the region and helping retail teams achieve their full potential.

Working alongside Store Managers and the wider regional management team, you'll play an important part in driving sales, improving performance, developing people and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

The Role

As Store Manager Designate, you'll work across a number of stores, providing leadership, guidance and operational support to help drive business performance.

No two days will necessarily be the same.You'll be involved in everything from improving sales and achieving KPIs to coaching colleagues, supporting store operations and ensuring customers receive an excellent experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Store Managers to deliver sales targets, business plans and commercial objectives.

• Supporting stock management, merchandising, seasonal promotions and effective cost control.

About You

You'll already have experience managing a retail store or leading a team within a busy retail environment.You're someone who understands what makes a store successful, from getting the best out of people to managing stock, driving sales and delivering great customer service.

We're particularly interested in people who are ready to broaden their experience and take on a more varied, regional role.

• At least two years' retail management experience, ideally as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or Deputy Manager.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving retail performance.
• Good commercial awareness, with an understanding of sales figures, budgets, profit margins and KPIs.
• Experience managing stock, merchandising and day-to-day retail operations.
• The ability to lead, coach and motivate teams, bringing out the best in people.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with the confidence to support different teams and store environments.
• A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel between stores across the region.
