Job summary

Specsavers Brighton, London Road is seeking a Store Manager who can lead by example and keep the store and team running smoothly. You’ll drive excellent customer service, oversee optical and hearing services, and develop your team through strong training and support.

This role offers progression opportunities within Specsavers and a chance to make a positive impact in the local community. This position requires strong leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to high standards of patient care,

Qualifications

• Experience in optics or retail management preferred; management experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills required.
• Flexible with weekend work and shift patterns.
• Customer-first mindset and ability to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and ensure smooth daily running.
• Manage and develop the retail team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Drive performance and achieve store targets while maintaining compliance.
• Represent Specsavers in the local community and uphold brand standards.

Our store

Specsavers Brighton London Road is a busy, customer-focused optical store offering a wide range of eyecare and hearing services. Our team provides professional eye examinations, contact lens services, dispensing and fitting of spectacles, as well as hearing tests and hearing care. We’re committed to delivering excellent patient care, expert advice and a friendly, welcoming experience to every customer.
