Job summary

Zachary Daniels Recruitment has partnered with a fashion retailer in Chiswick to recruit a Store Manager. You will lead a team, drive sales performance and deliver an outstanding customer experience in a busy fashion store.

Responsibilities include leading, motivating and developing staff; managing rosters, stock and store administration; delivering KPIs and maintaining visual merchandising; and ensuring policies are followed.

The Store Manager Role

As Store Manager, you'll take responsibility for the overall performance of the store, leading your team to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.

• Leading, motivating and developing a team of retail professionals
• Driving sales, revenue and KPI performance
• Delivering excellent customer service and customer experience
• Managing the day-to-day operation of the retail store
• Recruiting, onboarding, training and developing team members
• Managing rotas, payroll, stock and store administration
• Maintaining excellent visual merchandising and store standards

• Building a strong, engaged and high-performing retail team
• Ensuring company policies, procedures and operational standards are followed

About You

We're looking for an experienced Store Manager or Retail Manager with a proven track record in a customer-focused retail environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager or Retail Manager
• Experience within fashion retail, clothing, apparel, footwear, accessories, lifestyle or another customer-focused retail environment
• A strong track record of delivering sales targets and KPIs
• Experience managing, coaching and developing a retail team
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail performance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A hands-on approach to retail management
• The ability to motivate a team and lead by example
• Strong organisational and operational skills
• A genuine passion for retail, people and customer experience

We're also open to experienced Assistant Store Managers or Deputy Store Managers who are ready to take their next step into a Store Manager position.
