B&M Retail is looking for a Store Manager to join our store team in Barnstaple, Devon!

About the Role

As Store Manager with B&M, you'll oversee all aspects of your store's operations and will be at the heart of your store. Leading your management team and store colleagues, you'll have the freedom to think independently, using your commercial knowledge to maximize sales potential and drive business growth.

Our Store Managers are hands-on leaders! You'll be on the floor supporting your team to deliver excellent results daily. Whether processing deliveries, assisting customers, supporting with floor moves, or managing compliance, you'll be an active team player. You'll work closely with your team, motivating them to achieve their best, coaching and inspiring them to reach their full potential—possibly developing future managers!

Essential Requirements:
  • Management experience in a fast-paced retail environment with high stock turnover.
  • Experience leading and coaching medium to large teams.
  • Proven success in achieving KPIs.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Experience in FMCG or big box retail is advantageous but not essential.
