Job summary

TALA is seeking a Store Manager for our new Bicester location. You will own the store's commercial performance, lead a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional customer experience aligned with TALA’s brand.

This is a fixed-term contract from November 26 to January 27, with responsibilities spanning sales, operations, and people leadership. Ideal candidates will have proven retail leadership, strong numeracy and the ability to drive results in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven store management experience in fashion/activewear.
• Track record of delivering sales, payroll and profitability targets.
• Strong people leadership: recruit, coach and develop retail staff.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of store performance, including sales, payroll and controllable costs.
• Trade the store daily and weekly using data to identify opportunities and brief the team.
• Build and manage the store rota to maximise trading time within budget.
• Set clear targets and nurture a culture focused on numbers and results.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and propose solutions to Head of Retail.
