Job summary

Aldi is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to lead daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. You’ll focus on delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and improving efficiency while minimising costs.

You will train colleagues, check displays, and work toward achieving targets. The role offers real responsibility and a stepping stone toward future store management opportunities at Aldi.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
• Strong time management and cost control.
• Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently.
• Strong customer service and compliance skills.
• Previous Store Management experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Running the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
• Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations
• Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits
• Ensure Health & Safety and due diligence standards are maintained
