Job summary

Primark Newry is seeking a Department Manager to help run the store, lead a team and deliver great customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll manage at least one department, handle stock and merchandising, set goals with the management team, and develop your team through learning and career paths. The role is part-time with a pro rata package and 31 days leave.

Qualifications

• Experienced manager with proven leadership skills
• Ability to view situations from a commercial perspective
• Capable of working and making decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive nature with a determination to succeed

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the rest of the management team to support the daily running of the store.
• Responsible for at least one department within the store, including stock ordering and merchandising.
• Lead a team of managers to maximise sales by establishing goals and objectives.
• Provide a superior level of customer service.

• In the absence of senior management, you will oversee the store for the shift.
