Job summary

Toolstation Limited in Huddersfield is recruiting a Store Apprentice to work 20 hours per week in a busy retail environment. You will learn on the job across customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, business operations and safety procedures.

Successful applicants will join an award-winning apprenticeship programme designed to develop future store leaders, with ongoing coaching and progression opportunities within the Travis Perkins Group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers: Understand their needs and provide excellent service through genuine conversations.
• Get involved in store operations: Handle deliveries, stock shelves, and assist with warehouse tasks – be prepared to roll up your sleeves.
• Keep things running smoothly: Maintain a clean and well-organised store, ensuring everything is ready for our customers and safe for our colleagues.
• Learn while working: Set aside time each week to complete coursework, supported by your Store Manager and a dedicated apprenticeship coach.

What you'll do

Store Apprentice inHuddersfield

20 hours per week

We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store.

Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.
