Job summary

Toolstation Ltd. is seeking a Store Apprentice to learn on the job while earning a wage. You’ll gain hands-on experience in customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and business operations, with coursework supported by a dedicated apprenticeship coach.

Starting from early hours to late finishes, you will build skills through a structured programme and have opportunities to progress within the Travis Perkins Group. This role offers a fast‑paced environment and a clear career path.

• Ability to learn coursework alongside store duties.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers: understand needs and deliver excellent service.
• Handle store operations: assist with deliveries, stock shelves and warehouse tasks.

We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store.

Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

• Engage with customers: Understand their needs and provide excellent service through genuine conversations.
• Get involved in store operations: Handle deliveries, stock shelves, and assist with warehouse tasks – be prepared to roll up your sleeves! There's a real family feel here and we all pitch in as part of a close‑knit team. And since there's always loads of support from those around you, you'll never feel like you're struggling.
• Keep things running smoothly: Maintain a clean and well‑organised store, ensuring everything is ready for our customers and safe for our colleagues.
• Learn while working: Set aside time each week to complete coursework, supported by your Store Manager and a dedicated apprenticeship coach
