Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a motivated store assistant for our Farnham shop to help support fundraising and engager communities. You will act as an ambassador, delivering friendly service and assisting in daily shop operations, while promoting the charity’s mission locally.

The role is part-time (7.5 hours/week) with a £12.71 per hour wage plus benefits, reporting to the shop manager and contributing to team targets. Flexible rota and enjoyment of community work are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy customer service environments.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently when required.
• Excellent communication with customers and supporters.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Help the shop team achieve sales and fundraising targets.
• Maintain shop standards, visual presentation and safety compliance.
• Build relationships with the local community and colleagues.
• Support fundraising events and may take keyholder responsibilities.
