Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a motivated Store Assistant to join its trading team in Cardiff. You will act as an ambassador for the charity, helping customers, supporters and the community while representing the brand in-store.

You will support sales, fundraising goals and shop presentation, with opportunities to engage with diverse community networks and campaigns. This role offers a friendly, busy environment and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and experience in busy retail or charity shop environments.
• Ability to manage own workload and work independently when required, while collaborating with the team.
• Strong communication abilities and the willingness to engage with community and supporters.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Work as part of the shop team to meet sales and fundraising targets.
• Maintain shop standards, visuals, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
• Build relationships with local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
• Support fundraising events to reach targets.
