Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a part-time Retail Store Assistant in Farnham to support the trading team and achieve fundraising targets. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain shop standards, and engage with the local community while promoting the charity’s work.

The role offers part-time hours (7.5 per week) in a community-focused store with benefits. You will work under the shop manager in the Trading department.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate understanding of great customer service.
• Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
• Ability to manage own workload and work independently when required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Be an integral part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
• Maintain shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
• Create relationships with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
• Support fundraising events to achieve targets.
