Job summary

Liverpool Bay CCS Ltd, part of Eni, is seeking a Storage Complex Manager to lead subsurface management for the Liverpool Bay CCS project in London. You will ensure technical delivery, regulatory compliance and effective subsurface risk management.

Working closely with project teams and headquarters, you will develop storage-site concepts, support permit applications and integrate subsurface activities into key decisions, while mentoring a multidisciplinary team and promoting best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Geoscience or related; Master’s in Petroleum Engineering advantageous.
• Extensive experience in reservoir characterisation, well-log interpretation and subsurface analysis.
• Strong understanding of reservoir characterisation, well-data interpretation and 3D subsurface modelling.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead all subsurface activities for the Liverpool Bay CCS Project, ensuring delivery of technical studies, models and project milestones.
• Manage subsurface risks, uncertainties and technical issues, supporting key project decisions.
• Ensure compliance with storage permits, licences and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee subsurface modelling, data acquisition and technical assurance activities.
• Coordinate internal and external subsurface resources, budgets and specialist support.
• Support the development and implementation of the MMV strategy.
• Prepare and deliver subsurface documentation and regulatory submissions.
• Provide technical input to project leadership and regulatory engagements.
• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting collaboration.
