Job summary

Leap29 seeks a Construction Subcontract Manager for the ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will lead the Subcontract Engineers/Administrators team and ensure Subcontract Administration is followed by subcontractors across Mechanical Work, Buildings and E&I Works during EPIC phases.

Location: Talacre, UK. This contractor role is full-time (5.5 days/week) outside IR35. Start date ASAP for a candidate residing in the UK with full right-to-work status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in offshore facilities, industrial plants, or complex construction projects in Oil & Gas or energy sector.
• Some exposure to contract management activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Subcontract Engineers/Administrators team.
• Ensure Subcontract Administration is implemented and followed by Subcontractors.
• Initiate letters and notices to Subcontractors and respond appropriately.
• Monitor Subcontractor performance.
• Review and validate progress payments.
• Support management in identifying variations and/or claims with schedule/cost implications.
• Analyze Site Technical Queries, Site Instructions, Deviation Requests for cost impact and negotiate prices.
• Ensure extra works, new unit prices, claims, back charges, liquidated damages and close out of Subcontracts per procedure.
• Participate in change management and forecast analysis.
• Ensure issuance of Completion Certificates.
• Regularly update Subcontracts Forecasts analysis.
• Manage commercial close out of Subcontract Agreements.
• Share lessons learned and feedback on issues.
