Sopra Steria is seeking an experienced Storage and Backup Engineer to manage NetApp ONTAP storage and Veeam backups. The role is based near Newport and requires regular office presence (4 days a week) with eligibility for SC clearance.
You will deploy, configure, and administer NetApp and Veeam solutions, perform capacity planning and storage optimisation, and ensure backup integrity and rapid recovery workflows in a sensitive environment.

Sopra Steria's Aerospace Defence and Security sector are currently recruiting for a Storage and Backup Engineer with experience in the administration of NetApp Storage and Veeam backup. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with some level of existing experience in NetApp and Veeam looking to develop their skills and become a technical expert. This role sits within a group level account putting you in the best place to progress.
Ideally you would be based local to Newport as there is an expectation you will be in the office 4 days per week.
Due to the nature of the project, we are only able to progress with candidates that are eligible for SC clearance.
