Job summary

Pets Choice Ltd in Preston, UK is seeking a Stock Controller to maintain accurate inventory records across packaging, raw materials and finished goods, supporting production, customer service and operations.

You will monitor stock movements, perform cycle counts, generate regular stock reports and work with procurement, planning and warehouse teams to ensure service levels and capital are optimised.

Qualifications

• Essential: strong analytical and numerical skills and excellent communication.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Advanced Excel.
• Understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Negotiation and influencing capability.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records across Packaging and Raw Material inventory.
• Monitor stock levels vs forecast and flag shortages or excess.
• Reconcile physical stock with ERP/MRP records.
• Conduct cycle counts and support stock takes.
• Provide stock reports and KPI monitoring.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production and Warehouse teams.
