Job summary

The Results People are recruiting a Stock, IT & Systems Controller for a growing e-commerce client based in Liverpool. The role covers stock control, ERP/WMS support and basic IT helpdesk duties.

You will maintain stock accuracy, perform cycle counts, generate reports and help optimise stock and system processes to reduce discrepancies. Expect a hands-on, detail-focused professional in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or a similar position.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, inventory or stock management systems.
• Strong general IT knowledge and confidence troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve stock and system discrepancies.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Previous experience within e-commerce, retail, warehousing or distribution would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies and variances.
• Complete stock checks, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Monitor stock movements, transfers, returns and adjustments.
• Produce stock reports and identify the causes of stock inaccuracies.
• Support and maintain stock, ERP/WMS and other business systems.
• Investigate system errors, data issues and process failures.
• Provide first-line IT support for computers, printers, scanners, software and user access.
• Set up equipment and system access for new starters.
• Liaise with external IT and software providers where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve or automate stock and system processes.
