Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks a proactive finance reporting analyst to support weekly Net Sales, P&L preparation and month-end processes across the UK & Ireland. You will build robust Excel tools and Power BI reports, and collaborate with commercial and finance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

You'll contribute to budgeting and forecasting, standardise reporting across North West Europe and help drive efficiency with automation and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or another numerate discipline.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• An interest in developing knowledge of Power BI, TPM and other finance systems.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Prepare Customer P&Ls and support Monthly Business Reviews
• Produce sell-in vs sell-out reporting and support customer and promotional analysis
• Support Gross-to-Net reporting, month-end accruals, budgets and forecasts
• Maintain marketing, OPEX and customer reporting trackers
• Support New Product Development (NPD) reporting against budgets and forecasts
• Build and improve standardised Excel reporting tools, models and templates across North West Europe
• Help ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and easy to use across different markets
• Work with commercial and finance colleagues on ad-hoc analysis and data requests
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate repetitive processes using Excel, Power BI and other tools

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or another numerate discipline
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables
• Good numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence working collaboratively and building relationships with stakeholders
• Fluent written and spoken English
• An interest in developing your knowledge of Power BI, TPM and other finance systems
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience through an internship, placement year or junior finance/data role is an advantage, but it isn’t essential
