Job summary

Marstep Resourcing Solutions is recruiting a Customer Support Administrator to join our small office team at the Llay site. You’ll split your time between keeping our stock management system up to date and being a friendly first point of contact for customers.

The role offers a genuine pathway to a supervisor/team leader position as the business grows, with a friendly, supportive environment and opportunities to develop your skills across admin, stock control and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in admin, customer service or stock/inventory roles.
• Confident communicator — phone and email.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update stock management system.
• Log deliveries, track stock levels and flag shortages.
• Liaise with suppliers to check availability, place orders and chase deliveries.
• Handle incoming customer queries by phone and email.
• Keep customers updated on quotes, installations and project timelines.
• Escalate technical or urgent issues to the right team member.
• Keep customer and job records accurate and organised.
• Provide general office admin support (filing, data entry, document prep).
• Support the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
