Job summary

Culina Group in Blyth is seeking a Stock Controller to join our Contract Logistics team on a full-time permanent basis. The role focuses on maintaining stock integrity within the warehouse, with a 4 on 4 off days 6am-6pm and a salary of £29,535 per year.

You will liaise with the team to ensure accurate receiving and despatching, manage the pallet area, and perform daily stock checks while providing traceability information and reports.

Qualifications

• Previous stock control experience.
• High level of detail.
• Able to manage own time to meet daily targets.
• Team player but able to work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
• PC literate in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience of Autostore WMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with management and staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage the pallet area with Receipt and Despatch Team.
• Amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity and complete checks first.
• Hold and Release process.
• Provide stock traceability information for recalls as required.
• Fully investigate and report all short shipments.
• Complete daily and weekly reports.
• Managing multi-client and multi-customer queries.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Other duties such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries and samples.
