Job summary

Culina Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Stock Controller for the Chilled & Fresh division. You will ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads, manage the pallet area, and maintain stock integrity across shifts that run 18:00–06:00 on a 4 on 4 off nights pattern.

Responsibilities include coordinating with management and operational staff, maintaining the pallet database, investigating discrepancies, and producing daily/weekly reports.

Qualifications

• Previous stock control experience.
• Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
• Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
• Team player who can also work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
• PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage the pallet area in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team.
• Amend pick faces to maintain stock integrity and ensure checks are completed.
• Hold and Release process management.
• Assist in the management of the pallet database.
• Investigate and report all short shipments accurately.
• Complete daily and weekly reports as required.
• ODT planning with Mars and Haulier.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Take on additional responsibilities such as handovers and damage control.
