Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Stock Controllers for our clients main distribution centre in Worcester. You will carry out regular stock counts, update the warehouse management system, and ensure stock accuracy and availability.

This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, in a chilled environment. The ideal candidate has strong numeracy, attention to detail, and good IT skills including Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy skills and ability to work accurately with stock data.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular stock counts and inventory checks, including weekend counts on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Accurately book stock into the warehouse management system.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Update and maintain stock data using Excel, Outlook, and the WMS.
• Liaise with warehouse and operational teams to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
• Ensure all stock movements are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
• Follow company procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

The rate of pay is

£13.30 per hour

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts,

Monday to Friday. The hours of work are:

• 6am to 2:30pm

Your Time at Work

• Carrying out regular stock counts and inventory checks, including weekend counts on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Accurately book stock into the warehouse management system.
