Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Stock Controller for a client in Crick, delivering distribution of breads and cakes. The role is full-time, 4 on 4 off, with 6am–6pm shifts and an hourly rate of £13.96.

You will inspect stock, reconcile reports, and manage stock queries while maintaining strong customer service and accuracy. Based in Crick, this position offers full training and on-site support from Staffline, with good transport links and on-site parking.

Responsibilities

• Inspect floors daily and physically check stock as required.
• Reconcile goods inbound reports and ensure accuracy.
• Create and distribute stock reports to internal and external customers.
• Process stock queries within agreed timeframes and provide customer care.
• Investigate discrepancies and apply dispute procedures.
• Process returns and inter-depot cross documents.
• Pursue stock rejections and returns across the network.
• Record and correct stock balances in system transactions.
• Maintain accurate transactions in external warehouse database.
• Investigate outstanding, incoming, outside and missing pallets.
• Perform location checks and escalate non-conformances.
• Support colleagues across the network and undertake other duties as needed.

Staffline is recruiting Stock Controller for our client which deals with the distribution of breads and cakes based in Crick.

The rate of pay is £13.96 per hour.

This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off and the hours of work are: 6am to 6pm

Your Time at Work

• Inspecting floors daily and physically checking stock as required
• Reconciling goods inbound report
• Creating and distributing stock reports to both internal and external customers
• Processing stock queries within agreed timeframes, providing customer care
• Investigating discrepancies and processing dispute procedures
• Processing returns and inter depot cross documents
• Pursuing stock rejections and returns throughout the network
• Processing system transactions to correct stock balances
• Maintaining accurate transactions in outside warehouse database
• Investigating outstanding, incoming, outside and missing pallets
• Emptying location checks as required
• Recording and escalating internal and external non-conformances
• Supporting colleagues throughout the network
• Other duties as reasonably required
