Stock Controller - Manufacturing - 4 day week - Flexi time

The client is a world leading electronic manufacturing company based in Stockport.

The Stock Controller is responsible for the day-to-day management of the stockroom, including receiving, storing, and issuing inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and issue inventory
• Issuing Kits
• Maintain accurate inventory records - ERP experience required
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Continuous cycle counts
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
• Resolve inventory discrepancies - liaising with different areas of the business to keep the storeroom stocked and in order
• Maintain a clean and organised storeroom
• NCR experience

Qualifications and skills:

• 3+ years of experience in stock control management
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices with an EPR knowledge
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is ideal but not essential
• Mechanical Inspection experience is preferred but not essential
• FLT licence will be given after training
