Job summary

Staffline are recruiting for Stock Controllers at our client’s main distribution centre in Worcester. The rate of pay is £13.30 per hour. This full-time role offers fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm.

You will carry out regular stock counts, update stock data in the WMS, and ensure accuracy across inventory records. The role is in a chilled environment with on-site support, canteen, parking, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy skills and ability to work accurately with stock data.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular stock counts and inventory checks, including weekend counts on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Accurately book stock into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Update and maintain stock data using Excel, Outlook, and the WMS.
• Liaise with warehouse and operational teams to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
• Ensure all stock movements are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
• Follow company procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

Your Time at Work

As a Stock Controller your duties include:
