Job description

ARMANI OUTLET - CHESHIRE OAKS - STOCK CONTROLLER - FULL TIME

About us:

The Armani Group is a leading company in the fashion and luxury sector, with more than 8,000 employees. Its three core brands – Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and A|X Armani Exchange – are active in all the world’s major countries, across many continents. With origins firmly rooted in Italy, but also with a cosmopolitan vision and culture, the company has grown since it was founded in 1975, expanding its offer from clothes and accessories to cosmetics, fragrances, eyewear, watches, jewellery, and furniture and furnishing accessories. Today, therefore, as well as being well known in the area of fashion, the Armani Group is also renowned in the sectors of interior design, food and beverage, and hotels and resorts.

Giorgio Armani has created a style that has, with remarkable consistency, continued to explore countless variations and possibilities over the years. It expresses a precise vision down to the most minute detail: a way of being and presenting oneself, certainly incorporating clothing and accessories, but also including gestures, ways, behaviours and attitudes; a style that goes beyond the sum of its parts, and well beyond what one wears

Convinced that ethics and aesthetics must coincide, Giorgio Armani expresses fundamental and enduring values his clothes. He does so by creating timeless pieces that, enhanced by precious materials and artisanal craftwork, resist the whim of fleeting trends with their pure and essential design.

The Role:

As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the inventory and stock management process in store. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels, conducting regular stock audits, analysing data to optimise inventory turnover, and coordinating with various departments to maintain efficient stock operations. • Ensure that stock is properly labelled, priced, and organized in the stockroom.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, domestic and international stock movements, and stock discrepancies.
  • Prepare bi-annual stock takes to reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform cycle counts to monitor and analyse inventory data to optimize stock levels, turnover, and replenishment processes.
  • Implement and enforce stock control procedures, stock rotation, and stock security measures.
  • Assist Management with identifying slow moving or obsolete stock.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve stock-related issues, such as shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to stock management.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and merchandising activities as needed, including pricing, tagging, and product placement.
  • Maintain a clean and organised stockroom and backroom area, adhering to safety and security guidelines.
  • Involvement in store meetings, training, and other activities and responsibilities as required.
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Numerical ability.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous stock operations or retail operations experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of stock control procedures, inventory management principles, and retail operations.
  • Competitive salary and incentives scheme.
  • Employee discounts on Giorgio Armani products to fuel your own fashion journey.
  • Training and development opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career.
