Job summary

Giorgio Armani Outlet Cheshire Oaks is seeking a Stock Controller to manage inventory across receiving, storage, and distribution in-store. You will ensure accurate stock levels, minimise losses, and coordinate with departments to optimise turnover.

Responsibilities include stock takes, cycle counts, labeling, pricing, and merchandising support, while maintaining a well-organised stockroom and adhering to safety guidelines. Previous stock/retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock deliveries and check for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure stock is properly labelled, priced, and organised in the stockroom.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
• Prepare bi-annual stock takes to reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts to monitor and analyse inventory data.
• Implement and enforce stock control procedures, stock rotation, and stock security measures.
• Assist Management with identifying slow moving or obsolete stock.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve stock-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to stock management.
• Assist with stock replenishment and merchandising activities, including pricing, tagging, and product placement.
• Maintain a clean and organised stockroom and backroom area, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Involvement in store meetings, training and other activities as required.
